restoring hope, changing lives
At Givers of Hope Orphanage, we don’t just provide care we restore the hope that many children have lost. Each child who walks through our gates carries a story of hardship, but also the possibility of healing, growth, and transformation.
Welcome to Givers of Hope Orphanage
At Givers of Hope Orphanage, we believe every child deserves love, dignity, and a chance at a better future. We are a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Lilongwe, Malawi, dedicated to transforming the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children.
Since our founding in 2024, we have been a safe haven for 150 children aged 0–18, offering shelter, nutritious meals, healthcare, education, and emotional support. Every day, we work to restore hope and rebuild childhoods that were once filled with uncertainty.

WHAT WE DO
At Givers of Hope Orphanage, we provide more than just shelter we offer a path to healing, education, and a brighter future. Our programs are designed to meet the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of orphaned and vulnerable children in Malawi.
Here’s how we’re making a difference every day:

🏠 Safe Residential Care
We provide a secure and nurturing home environment for 150 children aged 0–18. Our trained caregivers create a family-like setting where every child feels loved, protected, and valued.

🍽️ Nutrition & Daily Meals
We ensure that each child receives three nutritious meals a day, prepared with care and guided by local dietary needs. Proper nutrition supports growth, concentration in school, and overall well-being.

IMPACT STORIES

Chisomo’s New Beginning
At just 9 years old, Chisomo had never been to school and was living with distant relatives who couldn’t provide for her. When she arrived at Givers of Hope, she was quiet and malnourished. Today, she is thriving in school, always smiling, and dreams of becoming a nurse so she can help other children the way she was helped.

Thoko Learns to Sew
Thoko, 17, lost both parents and had to drop out of school to survive. After joining Givers of Hope, he was enrolled in our vocational training program. He now sews school uniforms and earns a small income, saving for his dream of opening a tailoring shop. “I used to feel forgotten. Now, I feel like I belong and have a future,” he says.

Memory’s Journey to School
Memory was found living alone after being abandoned at age 11. With support from Givers of Hope, she returned to school and is now one of the top students in her class. Her confidence has grown, and she wants to become a teacher to inspire other girls like her. “This place gave me back my voice,” she says proudly.
